review 1: Basically, this is my new favourite book. I loved how they didn't go down the same road as every other Werewolf Mates book where the mates find each other and instantly fall in love, have some argument causing them to get angry with one another and then finding some way to get over it and live happily ever after.Seth, one of the main characters is a white veterinarian who also is a Werewolf. He's not like every other werewolf though as he has a gift with animals where he is able to heal them but causes harm to himself. He also has a dark past that he is trying to forget but is unable to.Kasey, is the other main character who is a bigoted racist. He hates all white people including the veterinarian, Seth. Kasey is also a werewolf from Senaka, Wyoming and believes all werewo... morelfs must be Cheyenne.The book is so well written and J.R Loveless goes into lots of detail about the main characters pasts. Originally I hated Kasey but the more I read the more I began to like him. Seth is likeable from the start and continues to be loveable throughout the book.Kasey's racism, bigotry and ignorance causes the men to distance themselves from each other but have to come together when Seth's past catches up with him because Seth's live is put in danger.Can the men get past their differences? Will Kasey's intolerance drive the men apart? Or will Seth's past have deadly consequences?
review 2: Mignon, mais sans plus pour moi. J'ai nettement préféré l'autre roman paru en VF de l'auteur, "Juste besoin de temps". Autant la fragilité du personnage passait bien dans l'autre livre, pour un jeune de 19 ans, autant là, ça passe moins bien pour le vétérinaire. Trop stéréotypé. Il manque aussi un petit quelque chose dans l'aspect "Fantasy" du roman. L'univers des loups garous amérindiens aurait mérité d'être approfondi. less
