review 1: I did it! I got this book mainly to get some use out of a juicer my mother gave me, but ended up really enjoying the "fast". I did the beginner's "Renovation" cleanse. Day one was horrible, but it got (much!) better after that. The vegan agenda is much less heavy handed than the Skinny Bitch approach, but I didn't come away from this feeling as "refreshed" and "invigorated" as I hoped. Maybe I need to try one of the more difficult levels. Includes some great recipes that even passed the kid-test (yummy vegan cashew rosemary vinaigrette that I used on everything from roasted portabellas to red potatoes!) and got me using more kale and chard than ever before.
review 2: I was excited when I got this book in the mail (giveaway winner). At first I thought this
... more book wasn't going to be for me. I am a thin, athletic built. Once I really got into the book I changed my mind. You can cleanse and not to it to loose weight. I eat organic and this book had some good tips in it. I haven't tried the juices yet (waiting until summer when I am off work) but I can not wait to see how great I will feel after the cleanse. I really like how they have you fill out a survey to see which cleanse would be good for you. They even have meal plans. This book was very informative! A must read! less
