review 1: In this story a child has many special powers and has saved people many times. His mom tells him that he is not an ordinary child so he will be going to superhero school. He is excited because he thinks that he will be learning how to use all of his specially abilities but instead he is taught how to do math. He starts to dislike the school and later on realizes the teachers have been kidnapped by evil villains. This causes the students to use there new math skills to save the day. He later on realizes that he will need to use the skills to save the day so it's not so bad. I really enjoyed this book because as a child I had the same mentality as him. I also really wanted to be a superhero and would always act like I had powers. This is a great book for children and the il... morelustrations where also very interesting. The illustrations showed how innocent the kids were even though they are extremely powerful. Overall this is a great book I could not spot any flaws.
review 2: After taking on a lava monster and fixing the Bay City bridge, Leonard is thrilled to be attending Superhero school. Not even an official superhero costume can revive his dwindling excitement when he finds the classes at school are about multiplication and fractions, not stopping speeding trains. When the kids arrive one day to find the teachers have been kidnapped by the Ice Zombies, they rush to the rescue. Will their lessons at school be enough to help them carry the day? This clever picture book is appealing to children who love superheroes of any kind. The author uses math themes without overburdening the story. The cartoon-style illustrations complete the book very well. less
