review 1: This is better than the first one. :) It's a good thing for Marcus to have his own happy-ever-after ending after being broken hearted with Sadie. This kinda reminds me of Almost Heaven, a regency romance by Judith McNaught. The bitter taste of deceit and betrayal was there and I couldn't help but to get frustrated with the situation, and think of how it would come to a good ending. But knowing that books like these always ends well was a relief. ;-)
review 2: It's a good story with the right amount of funny moments, sexy scenes and a lot of drama (and I mean LOTS of them, really!). I couldn't say I fall inlove with this book because I really don't. I guess, I'm not a fan of this kind of stories. I mean, the characters are too young to suffer that kind of emotio... morenal turmoil. It might be happening in real life but I still didn't enjoy reading it. And it's just so predictable. So yeah, I'd just stick with Abbi's supernatural books. less
