review 1: I started off reading this book as a palate cleanser. It wasn't bad but it was good either. I have to say I probably won't go on to read any more books by this author. I am all for chick books but I really hate when they are weak and give the appearance they need a guy in their life. oh this guy didn't work out but thankfully I have a backup guy that even though I publicly humiliate him will still take me back. And that was the whole book.
review 2: Perfect chick-lit set in glitzy L.A. Never read Adele Parks before and now excited for the other books of hers I have in my tbr pile. I thought Fern was abit naive with Scott but then I suppose lots of people would be seduced by that sort of lifestyle. At times she got on my nerves, like at her wedding she wasn't su... morere if her parents would turn up or not. That would not be something I'd be happy to wonder about. I would have to find out! I did feel sorry for Adam at the end but at the start I did think he was a bit of a dick. It's all alright tho, happy endings all round in this one. less
