review 1: Brilliant read, a couple that thoulght everything was ok between them and that they agreed on most things, one of them changes their mind and wants a baby, the other doesn't...they go through some tough times but in the end they finally get together again when they realise that they do truly love one another no matter what..observant, sensitive and funny story, I shall be looking for more books by Parks.
review 2: I like Adele Parks but I think this was my least favorite of her books. I found the story line about Neil and the stripper unrealistic and cliched. I didn't like the whole - why doesn't she want a baby theme. I didn't like the POV changes in the same paragraph- yep, that all sounds negative I know but I do like her writing. I like the descriptions. I ... morelike the way she ensures you see all facets of the characters but I missed feeling that way about the secondary ones. Some of the things that happen in the plot are just too cliched to make me feel the book deserves more than a two star rating and I'm really sorry about that. I've read all her other books twice - but this one, I don't even want to keep. less
