review 1: Another good read for the Ellie Hatcher series. I like the development of the recurring main characters alongside the plot of the new mystery. Without giving too much away, I like the little mention at the end about the guy showing up at the funeral because he is that kind of guy. It could be one of two people. Intriguing...makes me want to jump right into the next one, but I'm going to have to stop for a book club selection. Will return to finish the rest of the series soon.
review 2: THIS WAS AN OKAY BOOK, BUT NOTHING GREAT. I’M FRUSTRATED BY “WOMEN AGAINST THE MALE-CHAUVENIST-PIG-ESTABLISHMENT” STORY LINES. THE BUDDING ROMANCE BETWEEN ELLIE AND THE DEPUTY DA ALSO WAS INSERTED AT A TIME THAT TOOK AWAY FROM THE BUILDING DRAMA AND ALSO DIDN’T MAK
... moreE SENSE TO HAPPEN THEN, GIVEN WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISTRACTING ELLIE FROM ROMANCE (HER QUICKLY CONCLUDING CASE) AT THE TIME. less

NOTE: I read this book in Australia and its title was "City of Fear" NOT "Angel's Tip"!?!

I read this while at the beach. Perfect for that; very predictable and a quick read.

The story seemed to get a little boring and drag on toward the final chapters.

The second Ellie Hatcher book is as good as the first!

A slow start but picked up well.
