review 1: Comprei este livro porque tinha o preço de 5 € e fui ficando de lado, não era um livro que à partida me puxasse para o ler, mas quando peguei nele foi com agrado que tinha à minha frente uma narrativa muito embelezada com palavras e com cenários que a mim me tocam. E claro a história de amor, se é que se pode chamá-la disso, e já no final há uma parte que ao ler foi estar pertinho das personagens. Este é um livro rico em vários aspetos, e o final é uma espécie de luz ao fundo do túnel para o Midas...E por 5 € li um livro que foi uma grande surpresa.
review 2: I was given this by the book group I had just joined and due to high numbers myself and two others shared the book, I had it first and read it in the two days after I got it. I must be h... moreonest and say I would never have picked it up and part way in I would have stopped if I hadn't had to finish it to pass on. I did finish it and I am so glad.This book is not a wonderful book, or the greatest ever, but is a small story about characters that do not gain big insights or go vast places. It is a love story with a twist, I sat reading the last third in my bath, an hour later I had finished the book and was sat in a bath of cold water. I wont give any details as the journey is worth a read. if your not sure I recommend sticking at least until over half way as the story has lots setting up but if you do you will find a nice story and a sweet love story.The book group were very mixed about it, the style of writing didn't appeal to some the people didn't get mush love from others but over all most read to the end and enjoyed some of it. less
