review 1: Awakening the Fire by Ally Shields was a fantastic read. It's a story about a witch guardian that has the ability of witch fire and that helps protect the supernatural of Riverdale's Olde Town. Her job is to patrol and keep things peaceful. During the course of her patrol she discovers a werewolf attempting to attack a couple of young humans. That is just the beginning of a wonderful story of mystery and suspense. The story caught my interest from the very beginning The author has created a world of mystery and magic in which Ari finds herself right in the middle of. Ari finds herself involved with vampires and their secretive world. Andreas and Ari have some sort of magical connection that they do not even understand. Ari has the job of trying to solve murders and k... moreidnappings and working with the vampire prince and his lieutenants to prevent assignation attempts on the prince. The storyline is well thought out and keeps the reader turning pages to see what will happen next. I love the chemistry that is between Ari and Andreas and look forward in seeing how the author continues their story in the next book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next one in the series. Highly recommend.
review 2: Arianna Calin polisi supranatural dan partnernya Ryan mengadapati kasus pembunuhan brutal seorang gadis yang di duga berkaitan dengan beredarnya obat2 untuk vamp dan were yg di sebut fantasy. Namun ternyata kasus nya lebih rumit dari itu. Bukan Cuma manusia ajja korbannya. Vampire juga menjadi korbannya, otomatis Ari harus juga berurusan dengan vamp lokal. Andreas salah seorang letnan Prince Doran, pimpinan vamp lokal kerja sama dengan Ari untuk mengungkap karena di duga semua kasus terkait oleh usaha untuk menggulingkan Doran.Apalagi setelah orang terdekat Ari jadi korban. Ari sendiri masih bingung dengan sihir yg di milikinya berhubungan dengan Andreas.Intinya siy itu ajja, Cuma jalan ceritanya bagus. Kasus pembunuhan vamp, obat2 yg membuat vamp jadi ga terkontrol dan untuk were membuat berfantasi. Yg menarik itu interaksi antara Andreas sama Ari. Untung ga ada cinta segitiga di sini. Walopun Ari pernah date beberapa kali sama Ryan. less
