review 1: From the perspective on an 11 year old kid the book"Andi Unexpected" is a wonderful. They never let go of all the details 'till the end. Even-though the Amanda Flowers keeps the reader glued to the book with new things in every chapter. Like when they discover the trunk. Flowers has you wait 'till you actually find out in the trunk. If you were a teacher it would be a wonderful book to read Flowers will always leave you students eager to find out what happens next.
review 2: ARC from NetGalley: This is a nice little mystery for the beginning young adult reader. Andi and her sister Bethany are sent to live with their aunt after the death of their parents. While helping her aunt clean out the attic, Andi stumbles upon a mystery apparently involving one of her
... moreancestors. Although the story is simple, the mystery aspect is engaging enough to keep the reader interested. The characters are likeable and easy for a young reader to relate to. This book would be most appreciated by a late-elementary or early-middle school student. less

Not fabulous, but a strong straightforward mystery for the 5-7th crowd.

The physical format lessened the appeal for me.
