review 1: Apparently, this is the second book in this series, I have not read the first one, but believe me, you don't need to, this reads well as a stand alone. The cover explains the book well, so I won't repeat, but I will say that I really enjoyed this. It reminded me of the good old days of Ms Kell where passion leaps of the page and always an underlining storyline running alongside. My only gripe would be, no spoilers, just an observation, was how one very successful and strong businessman went to be so "girlie"? It didn't get away me enjoyment of the story, it just felt wrong somehow. Overall, a sexy, loving cowboy romance. Recommended.
review 2: synopsis:robert is moping around because nobody wants to have a relationship with him, and the one guy who he tho... moreught possible is in love with someone else. enter glen, who was just screwed over by his previous boss when he wasn't given the opportunity to by the ranch that he's been working on, even though the guy promised. glen head's to the ranch that his cousin is working on. one day, he sees a truck hit the ditch, and takes the guy to the hospital. attraction is immediate.what i liked: the ranch. a couple of the surrounding characters.what i didn't like: robert and glen sleep together a couple of times and then glen gets really upset when he finds out that robert is ONE of the backers who bought his former boss's ranch. before they even met! robert disappears after glen lights into him and comes back, having backed out of the deal to buy glen's former ranch, and bought another one that boarders his own lands. after a couple of weeks? they acted more like teenagers than supposedly mature adults. less
