review 1: A light, easy read. Tyler (a chef) comes to his brothers ranch after bro has an accident. Cody, his brothers business partner falls hard for Tyler. Not sure I fully believed Cody's character - seemed to go from tough rancher to 'baby'/'honey' gay man very quickly. This was a short read so that always curtails how much detail an author includes but I would have enjoyed reading more detail behind the characters in a longer read.
review 2: Tyler is a chef from a big city who is called to his brother's ranch when his business partner tells him his brother has had an accident. Quitting his job, he runs to his brother's side and as a result has to deal with a boyfriend who just dumped him for a woman, a rugged cowboy who pushes all his buttons, his brother's amnesia ... moreand a bunch of well-meaning cowboys with an agenda.I loved each and every character. Tyler was shy and easygoing and was very clear about what he wanted. As beautiful as he's supposed to be, he wasn’t cocky or vain, which was a breath of fresh air. He was sweet and just wanted to indulge his creativity with his food. I liked how Cody on the other hand, as confused as he was by being attracted to another man was so unconsciously affectionate anyway. I'm not sure this was a gay for you story exactly since Cody admitted to having been attracted to guys in high school, but it was only brought up the once. The ranch hands were the most fun with their love of Tyler’s food and subsequent search of the perfect gay man for him in their small town so he would settle down and stay and cook for them at the ranch. Cody’s jealousy at this was a good wakeup call for him and by the end of the story I felt everybody had gotten what they deserved.Very, very sweet and perfect if you're looking for a story that leaves you with a smile on your face. less
