review 1: Amy Lane's writing is so good it seems almost effortless. This talent is apparent in Turkey in the Snow. Hank has always been the responsible one. He looked out for his sister and tried to make a home for her despite his mothers drama. Hank now finds himself at 26 the very model of responsibility. He is a banker, has a house, is stable financially and is now taking care of his niece.Justin burst into his life like the sun on a cloudy day. Justin is a college student who works in the child care center at Hank's gym. Justin is loud, sunny and a "drama queen". He is also warm, caring, full of love and laughter and just what Hank and Josie needs. Reading this book and watching Hank and Justin fall in love is a perfect way to spend the holiday se... moreason.
review 2: Está bien, pero se pasa un poco con la palabra "drama" y clasificando todo tipo de cosas y situaciones como "dramáticas". Resulta exagerado y poco natural. No terminé de entender los sentimientos y reacciones de Hank ante determinadas situaciones. Quizá si la autora lo hubiera explicado, profundizado más en la vida y sentimientos del personaje en lugar de calificarlo todo como "drama"...No sé. Me ha gustado, pero creo que hubiera sido necesaria una historia más larga, más detallada y con final menos abierto. less
