review 1: This was the final climatic book in the Homelander series for young adults. Although at times Charlie seems almost too patriotic to be true, this closure brings chills with its hint of realism. Our young James Bond type character runs and is captured and runs again, trying to stop what he knows will be a horrific attack on his country. Highly recommended, and stopped from being a 5 only because of the fight scenes - but definitely a 4.5 at least.
review 2: The final hour is one of the best books I have read. It is the final book in the Homelanders series by Andrew Klavan. This book and series is about a boy named Charlie West who tries to help the United States take down a terrorist organization. Practically, Charlie is by himself for most of the book. He has t... moreo find out what Prince, the Homelanders leader, is trying to do and stop it. Charlie is very resourceful and he never gives up. This book is focused on a terrorist attack called the Great Death. Charlie has to figure out where it is at and try to top it. The events leading up to the end are very interesting. But nothing compares to the end. I won't tell you what happens so you can read the book to find out. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes action books. I would also reccomend this book to mystery book lovers. You will want to finish this book as soon as you pick this book up less
