review 1: BEST, MOST INSPIRING, MOVING AND STUNNING NOVEL I HAVE EVER READ! I'm so fortunate to have read this book at a young age; I have obtained an invaluable amount of wisdom and PERSPECTIVE. I'd recommend this novel to anyone who plans on being successful in life, be appealing to others, develop a constructive social ambiance and love life...in other words, anyone. No wonder Andy Andrews has "quietly become one of the most influential people in America." I wish to be at least a small fraction of the person he is today. This novel has drastically changed my life... I am guilty to say that I complain like a typical white girl (i.e. slow internet, cold Starbucks, etc.), however this novel sincerely enhanced my moral values, my ethics and standards. It encouraged me to change mysel... moref to the better side. I cannot express my gratitude to Andy in words...but, for now, Thank You. You are an inspiration. (What good timing to read this novel right before the New Year...I can start my perspective-enhanced resolutions right now)
review 2: This is the first book I've read by Andy Andrews. I checked out the narrative version on 4 CD's from the library here at home. The added voice was his own, and it showed his feelings about the people he was meeting and helping. It was a very touching book, but you really couldn't tell if he was an Angel or an old man who always looked the same for years on end. The name is Jones, not Mr. Jones, just Jones. less
