review 1: This book by Andy Stanley (the son of Charles Stanley), would be interesting to use in a small group. He makes some statements that are sure to raise some eyebrows. P. 13 "In the beginning Adam blamed God for his troubles, and mankind has been blaming God ever since." P. 67 "Maximum freedom is always found under the authority of God." P. 117 "Receiving grace is often easier than dispensing it." P. 172 "It's always easier to talk about theology than our pain." People reason that ""Church is for church people like golf is for golfers, hunting is for hunters, coin collecting is for coin collectors, and bridge is for . . .people who play bridge." P.195
