review 1: I'm torn giving this book 4 stars because I think it deserves 5, except for the last few pages. The whole story was beautifully written, to the point where months later I still think about this book from time to time. It's a book that I might read again because I enjoyed the plot and the characters so much. However, the ending was so disappointing! I don't know if I can bear to go through it again!
review 2: Well this book annoyed the shit out of me. All of the build up and a teeny, miserable pay off. I found myself skimming large portions of this because it was the same eternal love spiel on repeat. The villain didn't play enough of a role for me to be convinced that he was any threat, regardless of how powerful his friends are. I regret reading this and would... moren't recommend it to anyone. You don't get to write a book like this with an ending like that. You just don't. This woman needs to be banned from writing until she can write a suitable ending. less
