review 1: I read this book to see if it was appropriate for my 6th grader, who has been wanting to read it herself. It was an easy, quick read, but pretty intense. And I'm now okay with my 11 year old reading the book (but I wouldn't go younger than 6th graders). I liked how the young girl fights back and does her best to survive a dangerous situation. She is brave while admitting to being scared at the same time...an honest bundle of emotions.
review 2: Instant attention-grabbing mystery, fast-paced. "The Girl" comes to in a log cabin and about the first thing she hears is, "She doesn't know anything. Finish her off." She manages to get away from her would-be murderer and from there it's a race to figure out why they are trying to kill her, where is she, and...WHO is
... more she? It's mystery quickly takes shape as she tries to stay one step ahead of her enemies with the help of Ty, a boy she meets who amazingly steps in to help. Hit the ground running from page one and didn't stop until the end! less

An amazing suspenseful novel that will make you want to cry but still gets a happy ending.

This book was suspenseful, but a little too gruesome for me. I expected more. Easy read.
