review 1: Listen, it's. I get it. I'm complicit in these. But when a mystery presents some of the flimsiest reasoning yet for getting an amateur sleuth involved, a character is coincidentally reading the same book I just read and also gave one star, and everyone character is shrill and flimsy, I am accepting one-third of the blame AT MOST. Eventually I put this one down unfinished. I also find it hard to believe that this town could support even half the number of pun-named luxury small businesses.
review 2: There's a lot happening in Providence, Ohio, including the impending marriage of Charlotte's cousin to her best friend. Charlotte and cheese-maker Jordan are talking about their own wedding, too, and then a visitor to town brings trouble. When a body is found, Jord... morean's sister is a suspect--and so is he! Charlotte badgers her high school chum, now chief of police, and there are lots of characters from previous books in the series, perhaps too many. less
