review 1: A refreshing read. I enjoyed the romance between Aiden and Sara and rooted for them to be together, after all those years of unrequited love on Sara's part. I'm glad they got their happy ending, BUT, is it just me, or did the story end too abruptly? I felt like all the loose ends were not completely tied up. Where is the vindication for Aiden, who was punched in the face and lambasted for "killing" his best friend? What about Sister Margaret? Why did she disappear and is she really an arsonist?Other than my gripe, this was another feel- good , enjoyable romance from Barbara Freethy.
review 2: This was a nice read, it didn't blow me away. To me it dragged a little in some parts, but I did enjoy the big family and how their stories intertwine together. I am inter... moreested in reading about each of the brothers, and sisters going forward. I will continue reading the rest of the series, I believe that there are 6 books, and a novella so far in the Callaways series. Happy reading to all !!!! less
