review 1: This book was fun, I liked all the back-and-forthing with the fishing trip and whatnot and it wasn't confusing/potentially disturbing like the first one... But then when Hen gets home, she thinks Fox has eaten her (their?) egg. She's getting ready to brain him with a frying pan when she sees he's cuddling the baby and the baby's fine, and then it all finishes up with a champagne toast. Uh... what?
review 2: Fox and Hen are married and expecting a baby. Their only problem is an empty fridge. Hen leaves the egg with Fox and goes off with Crab to catch (as in fish) some food. Fishing turns out to be more involved than Hen imagined. Will she ever make it back to Fox and their baby?What I thought: Rodriguez really understands the concept of wordless picture books. H... moreer illustrations are perfect for adding your own narration. She shows the action so clearly.
