review 1: With everything going on in my life, I had a hard time reading this. I would read just before bed and ended up re-reading parts to keep track of things. I need to go back to the last book to see what happened to Lesley's face because I don't remember and Ben doesn't say much more than there was an accident which Peter claims to be his fault. All in all a good book and I can't wait to see more. I wonder if the Silent People calling him half caste was racial or if it's foreshadowing to him being fae.
review 2: Another great entry in the series, my favourite so far. Plot-focused without as much character development as the previous one, though I do enjoy the interplay between Lesley and Peter and some new characters, though this did leave Nightingale and some
... moreof my other favourite regulars in the background for most of the book. The mystery was far more intriguing than the previous book, and I enjoyed the weird resolution, which though not quite as satisfying, pleasingly upped the ante on Aaronovich's magical London. I'm definitely still hooked and will hunt down book four ASAP. less

Fantastic. Funny, clever and witty. Cant wait for number 4 and 5.

Bit disappointed by this, a lot slower than the other two.
