review 1: Another wonderful book by Beth Hoffman….. to follow her first SAVING CEE CEE HONEYCUTT. Loved Teddie's work ethic in this book … and the story of how she learned the antiques business and eventually grew and ran her own shop. The setting in Charleston was a charmer, too, as were the buying trips to search for antiques for the store. Teddi's hurt over her brother's disappearance and how that is resolved form a big part of this story - slipping from past to present until the satisfying end.
review 2: Family relations which last over the years, trials, mysterious loss of a loved family member, love and loyalty makes this book survive from page to page. Teddi is the main character and meets all the criteria of all of the above. Somehow the ending let me down
... morebut if Beth Hoffman is looking for a continuation into another book I think it would be to start where this one left off and it could be a winner too. less

I loved it. The author writes such flawed, yet likeable characters that I can't bear to leave them.
