review 1: HMMMMMMM. Summer no doubt, is funny and witty. I love how she throws snide comments to the nasty Hattie and it cracks me up, especially when she asked Hattie if the latter ever had a "..threesome". However, HOWEVER, it is what it is - the book is a fluffy chicklit. Funny but not memorable. I have read chick lit novels that are funny AND memorable but this doesn't quite cut it. Which is a shame because I've read some of the author's previous works before and they're good. But this one doesn't quite live it up.
review 2: It is true I am a sucker for beach setting books but ~~~~~have you ever heard of a book based on the Delaware Shore? Also have you ever braked for a turtle?? This book is a super fun read!!! I live in a small community so totally laughed out ... moreloud at the Black Dog Bay Bulletin's police blotter page 146.
