review 1: I loved this! I needed this! I was amazed at the reviews as people either put 1 star or 5 stars. I love Beth Moore because she is real! She speaks from a heart for God and a desire to lead people to trust Him. She is an example to all. Fully reading this book reveals truths about many women's deep dark desires and brings them to light. Though her insecurity might be different then yours she talks about fears and where we find our security.
review 2: I do love Beth Moore's voice, her sincerity, her testimony, her love for Scripture and for women. All of those were evident in this book, which I read with a small group at my church over several months. I wouldn't say the book was life-changing for me, but I definitely appreciated some important take-aways: 1) ... more"She is clothed with strength and dignity" 2)To ask "What will _God_ do if..." instead of "what will _I_ do if..." the worst case scenario hits, keeping in mind the promises God has made (see page 333) and 3) the insight that behind every insecurity is a fear; to check my heart for what I am afraid of (see page 322) and then trust God, who is there NO MATTER WHAT. less
