review 1: This book is about Louise Lambert. She finds a necklace in her trunk-and it's like the ones Marla and Glenda wear- and finds out her mom was a time-traveling fashionista! And then she goes on a journey to the set of the movie Cleopatra-and then wears a necklace there that takes her to the real time! She meats Cleopatra-but is almost killed by one of the guards when she's trying to get back. Luckily, she comes back to the movie and then to real times where she keeps falling for Peter and offers to find him more vintage since half of his clothes were taken away by his mother. And then she realizes she didn't get another invitation.

But just as Louise was getti... moreng familiar with her adventure she tries on an egyptian pearl necklace, and gets whisked back centuries and becomes Cleopatras handmaiden. Will Louise get home safely, or will she end up being fed to the crocodiles? I absolutely adore this book it really taught me a lot about both the movie Cleopatra and the actual person Cleopatra. My favorite part in the book was when Cleopatra outsmarted the roman general during the banquet. My favorite character in the book is definitely Louise, because every time she gets thrown back in time Louise has to try to figure who she is, where she is, and what she does in the era she is in. less
