The Time-Traveling Fashionista
review 1: The book The Time Traveling Fashionista at the Palace of Marie Antoinette, by Bianca Turetsky is a very fascinating book. The book is about a girl named Louise Lambert who is taken back in time to Pre-Revoluyionary France and meets another fashionista and a cute gardener but she needs to get home. My favorite part was when she was finding out so much about France and she wanted to try to change history. One thing I would like to change is I wish it told more about Marie Antoinette. I like these books so much I hope the author writes many more books.
review 2: The copy of this book that I read was an ARC. That said, I'm sure that something would be added by the full-color illustrations that were added to the final book. It was kind of interesting to see the bl
... moreack and white renderings that were in this one. However, the book left something to be desired for me. I did not read the first one, but this one did seem to stand on it's own. The premise is good, and fairly original. Even knowing that the main character was only 13, I was still disappointed by the vast fluctuations between mature moments, and moments where she seemed much younger. Her lack of basic knowledge of the French Revolution and the relationship between the royalty and the "common people" struck me as unbelievable. Of course, it might be more believable to someone closer to the actually age. It might be a good book for girls about 10-14, but I don't think it offers much for anyone older. less

Toujours aussi charmant et débordant de belles toilettes ! Idéal pour les jeunes adolescentes.
