review 1: **I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review**Wow!! I believe I have found my book boyfriend of the series!! I loved Nick!!! And in an amazing turn of events, I actually liked Bailey as well. Throughout the series, Bailey F'ing Johansson has been the mean, bossy, big mouth, rude, princess of Ellsburg. Her sarcasm and rudeness had caused me to hate her! Somehow, Bijou Hunter has turned that around and I now understand, why Bailey acts the way she does. In Damaged and the Dragon, Bailey falls in love and we are able to see how she lets down her guard, learns to trust her man and let go of her issues. Nick...Nick is super sweet, sensitive, patient, hot, sexy... I have actually liked Nick since the beginning of the series and I loved him even more in this book. He is d... moreealing with his own insecurities and fears and even though he has liked Bailey for a long time, he didn't think he was good enough for her.I loved the relationship between these two. I loved that they were both able to overcome their obstacles to be together. And of course, I loved the humor!!Nick: "If Bailey wants to go, we'll go. I'm not choosing for her."Cooper: "You can't let her boss you around, man. She'll own your balls."Nick: "She already owns them. At this point, we're just negotiating visitation rights."It was great catching up with Cooper and Farah!!! I loved Kirk and Jodi, Bailey's parents...and Sawyer...her little mouth drove me a little crazy as usual but glad to see that she toned it down a bit! Can't wait for the next book in the series!
review 2: Bravo! I have been waiting for Bailey’s story for so long. I must be one of the few readers that loved Bailey F*ucking Johansson. She has the best dialogue with Sawyer and the rest of the crew. I usually highlight most of the parts with Bailey in the other books but I must have highlighter the entire Damaged and the Dragon (DoD). I know she can be a spoiled brat and rude, but it’s just so funny and she is just so real. I mean what other character you know would respond to Lark’s heartfelt advice “Be true to myself” with Bailey’s “You know, as is I was living in a Disney movie” or “So the cornerstone to your epic love is that you served him like a slave and he made you laugh? I feel like I’m being punked. I would have never guess Bailey would be the one to rescue a broken Nick. She was just so straight forward and if she had something on her mind that she needed an answer too, she just spit it right out i.e. Was I second to Farah. I totally believed she would hire an assistant and saw it as training herself on how to manage people. I mean really who would do that. The Damaged serious is one of the few biker books that all of the biker culture is second to the reader learning about the actual character. I mean Reaper’s is mention only at the right time to provide the right support to a story line i.e. Kirk asking Nick if he wanted his dad to disappear. I’m very pleased and happy about this book. It Bijou has time, I can’t wait for Sawyer’s story. Well we have some years to wait but it would be so epic. She is a combination of Bailey and Cooper. I mean how many kids do you know would tell someone “Someone hurt you, Want me to have them killed” . She is an old lady in waiting! less
