review 1: There are some really interesting relationships within this little town.Shay and Ford: Shay is young,inexperienced, insecure. She doesn't want to get her heart broken, but can see herself falling head over heels for Ford. Ford is attracted to Shay, he sees something different in her but knows she's wounded. He's looking for a good time,nothing serious. His only real loyalty is to his brother. They both learn to trust,be honest, and take a chance.Ford and Pax: Blood brothers and enforcers for the club, they have each other's backs,rely on themselves. They were abandoned by their parents,raised themselves,only real loyalty is to each other. It is so interesting seeing their relationship play out and change when Shay comes into the mix. Pax is a little possessive of his broth... moreer,but he sees how important Shay is to Ford. Pax realizes he doesn't want to risk losing Ford over Shay, so he accepts her as a fixture in their lives. He realizes too that he actually likes her and she easily fits into their brother dynamic.Lucky and Shay: Lucky is a very moral/ father figure character for Shay. He took a time from his life when he regretted not helping someone and it ended pretty tragically. He saw the chance for a do over and took it. Shay is in a bad spot,Lucky can give her a chance to start over,a clean slate, if she wants it.Darby and Shay: I look at Darby as a the mother Shay didn't have. Darby has suffered, but she is so much stronger for it. She is confident,smart,independent- all the things Shay feels like she is lacking. Darby gets Shay to see that the club has its faults but Shay has to make herself happy and not worry so much about what other people think. Darby has freedom to do,say,dress,act however she wants and Shay sees that as something she wants for herself.I really liked these characters, would love to see who Pax ends up with,Bebe maybe?
review 2: Best READ in a while... Totally Thoroughly Enjoyed this Awesome Book.. LOV LOV Loved It... & Want the 2nd immediately .. I think k I was heading g into a book slump But this Awesome Book got me out of it.....Ford & Pax .. hard case take the Pi$$ brothers ... that stick fat they only really trust each other.. Shay don't take carp from Ford who she falls for.. she's got just as snappy of a mouth & gives it back.. the end Beautiful even shed a few tears at how beautiful it was ... this is one of my Favourite authors love the Damaged series & looks like this will be another winner... you write them I'll read them. ... Cheers for an Awesome Read Bijou Hunter.... So Get One Clicking People.. It's FREAKING Awesome!!! Wonder who Pax is going to fall for.... Interesting ... I even want Bebe to get a HEA... Greedy me would like a book about the kids grown up & find there one... Yip ... Not much to ask I think ...lol less
