review 1: Although perhaps not as thrilling as the Battle of Fabletown, or as emotional as the last ship out of the old kingdoms, this was a pretty satisfying end to the war against the Adversary. I worried for some of my old favorites, but in the end it was an unlikely character whose loss was the most affecting. And even though victory has been claimed, I have a sneaking suspicion that there's another shoe waiting to drop.
review 2: The huge war that they've spent hundreds of pages, nearly 75 issues, building up to happens and it's over in three issues. The length of the war isn't even the worst part because the Fables have thought shit through to such a ludicrous extent (with some admittedly cool usage of Fable powers that come in handy) that they absolutely crush t
... morehe huge multi-planar empire almost effortlessly. There's a heroic sacrifice or two and someone does die of wounds later on but it's more Desert Storm than World War II. less

The war between the Adversary and Fabletown ends. This was one of my favorites of the series so far.

In many ways, reminded me of The Salvation War. It's amazing what modern technology can accomplish!
