review 1: I loved this book! I am officially a fan of Brenda Barrett. Her writing style is simple, yet her ability to tell a story is phenomenal. I was able to connect with the characters on a personal level through the voice of the author. I am impressed that such a story could be developed in only 162 pages. Barrett seems to have done this with ease. This romantic story is filled with truth that can be applied to anyone in any situation. Pure romanticism at its best. This was just the type of read I needed. I look forward to reading the rest in this series as well as checking out other books from this author.
review 2: Overall, this was an alright book. Parts of the storyline were a bit boring. I had to sit it down for a few days before picking it back up to finish r... moreeading it. I'm not sure that I will purchase the last two books in this series. However, I loved that it is Christian-fiction and has strong, memorable quotes. There were quite a few typos in the kindle edition. It was also annoying to see "there" used twice when it should have been "their" but hopefully they will fix it. less
