review 1: What an anti-climax. I assume this is meant to be part of some cross-over with the Ultimates, but it's a shame that such an important chapter of the series can't stand alone. But then, it doesn't feel like an important chapter of the series...it just feels like Bendis got a whim be Gritty. There was no poignancy that hasn't already been explored in previous issues. This just happens to be that time the Sinister Six broke out of jail and they killed Peter. Meh. But a frustrating "meh."
review 2: I had heard about this story arc last year and the following arc and was very curious about Milo the new Spider-Man. It didn't feel right to begin reading about Milo without reading about Spider-Man's death. This just makes your heartbreak. Peter tries so hard t... moreo save and protect everyone and loses his own life in the process. He wasn't given nearly enough credit by Shield and the other heroes. While I'm excited about the new Spider-Man I am sorry to see Peter Parker go. less
