review 1: This was a nice, sweet story that was definitely a page-turner. Although some of the descriptions of France are overly romanticized and borderline cheesy, there was some genuinely touching quotes and insight that this book offers. It accurately depicts the healing process of a grief-stricken woman, and really warms the heart with its fairytale-esque ending - nothing too complex or profound, but a nice chicken soup for the soul kind of book!

... mored obsess a little less about lost love, but, thank goodness, what do i know about the pains of widowhood and how long they last? and, that she finds love in the end, is foreshadowed by the title, so my mention of it isn't a spoiler unless you skipped the title and plunged in unwittingly. It was a fun read, on a snowy day, i could put my brain on coast and enjoy the ride. i wouldn't be adverse to picking up another of her books at sometime, when I'm in the mood for good writing and happy endings. less
