review 1: For me, the best book in the series so far. Finally got a glimpse of the famous Anton Trese and got to know more about Alexandra, her family and learned about the Kambal's story. The only problem I had with the book was how it was made physically. Unlike books 1, 2 and 4, the pages of book 3 are ready to fall off even though I read it only once. Also had to use a cutter on a lot of pages because the pages were not cut properly (some pages are stuck together). Despite this, I still enjoyed the book very much.
review 2: Book #145 for 2011I bought this last Friday. Since then, I've read and re-read Mass Murders five times and counting. Among the 4 books, this is my favorite so far. I love the story and history of Trese. WTF and FTW moments when the history of Kam... morebal was told, the baptism of Alexandra, heck, I could go on and on about the things that I liked and those which made my head spin. As I was reading, I found myself texting my brother and some of my friends asking them if they've read it. If they've read it already, we had a mini-discussion via SMS. If not, I was encouraging (borderline forcing) them to start reading Trese. Now, with that said, I think I will re-read this for the Nth time tonight. less
