review 1: I struggled to get through this book. I found it slow going and I also found Erica's character very annoying as she always seems to be getting involved in things she shouldn't. I have always found Erica slightly annoying but in this book she really frustrated me. Also, Considering in the last book where Martin was heavily involved in the investigation, this book he has less involvement and Paula takes his place. I like Martins character so that disappointed me. I also really, really disliked the ending. I gave the book 1 star because the ending really, really frustrated and annoyed me. I probably will read the next one eventually, but I definitely need a break from this series.
review 2: Gostei muito, mas não achei tão bom quanto a Teia da Cinzas, da mesma au... moretora. O aspecto menos positivo, para mim, é o facto destes livros terem todos o mesmo tipo de construção, com diferentes dimensões temporais intercaladas, abrindo uma "passagem" para um passado em que existem crianças maltratadas e mães loucas. Volto a reiterar, gosto muito desta autora, mas começa a não me surpreender muito. less
