review 1: I really enjoyed this one as most CC's books that I have read, it is a very, very guilty pleasure. The book is from Samuel's POV and I fell in love with him from the first thought. His mate is cute and adorable and sure of himself. Even though they were both alphas it was not over the top. There are a few loose ends that were not addressed at the end of the book. I am considering the other pack will get an alpha in the next book. Can't wait. I have really enjoyed the series thus far.
review 2: 4.5 StarsI didn't realize this was the third in the series. Fortunately the author blends the previous two books into this story and I don't feel like I missed much if anything.I fell for Korbon as soon as he was introduced. Eleven years old, so sweet and caring wit... moreh eight year old Samuel. Who wants nothing to do with him, Yet Korbon doesn't give up so easily. Years pass, Samuel is even more awkward, and tragedy brings Samuel and Korbon together again. Add to this a cool shifter lore, tales of true mates, a love that won't be denied and so much angst- again poor Samuel!Was beautiful to see how they balanced each other, were fiercely protective and so freaking sexy! less
