review 1: DNF. I got to about the 2/3 mark when I realised I kept going to my TBR shelf and wondering what to pick. I really enjoyed "The Things That Keep Us Here", and hoped for something similar here. Not in content but in execution. Where TTTKUH looked at an 'apocalyptic' story from a new angle, "Invisible" was nothing new. The story was predictable and the big plot points were painfully telescoped. Along with unsympathetic, dull characters, it made for a boring read for this reader.
review 2: This book was a four stars until that ending!!! Such a great story throughout & then nothing is resolved at the end of the story. Is LT alive? What happens when Brian & Joe find out the secret? Does Frank accept everything & quit drinking? Do the townspeople get on board with Da
... morena's theory? Does Eric come back around with Peyton? Do Dana & Peyton start building a relationship? Does Dana break off from her current work situation & stay in Big Bear or try to start a new job in Chicago? Does Peyton come with her? Seriously, the ending to this book is just awful. less

I found this book to be predictable and rather boring. Her other two novels are much better.
