review 1: I thoroughly enjoyed the emotion and and honesty in this book. That's one thing for sure. The author put in emotion through the guilt and anger Sam and Blake held for their past of their relatives. It was very insightful actually, seeing how time doesn't heal all wounds, it just makes them easier to ear with. The character development for Sam in this book was very strong and audible. Her personality was bold, yet chef and te author described it perfectly. If I'm being honest , the other characters lacked the essential emotion and actions needed to fully get the idea of what the person is like. There weren't any descriptive words. You didn't get to fully know the person. It's either that or you think about a person one way, then Bam, one action leads you to believe somethi... moreng else. To help with the character development I wish the author would have made it from second person, that way you could have gotten more insight and perspective from each character. It was hard to really feel everything when it was like someone telling the story, and not living it. I found the book itself being somewhat brief. Like it lacked certain points. The reason I think this is because I was utterly shocked at the whole "I love you" because I didn't see the whole picture even coming to that yet. They missed bits and pieces of the novel, therefore making it almost like the author got bored with her own story. So yes I do wish it was longer and I got to see the I between of Sam and Blake's relationship.
