review 1: Got past the first few chapters, but lost interest and haven't been bothered to get back to it. I'm not interested enough to get back to it, and so I'm probably going to sell it. I'm so saddened that I had to pay $30 for such a dull book, and this was my first Cathy Kelly book. I'm disheartened from picking up another of her books. I couldn't connect with anyone in the novel up to when I put it down, and there were no redeeming qualities that made me want to keep reading. It was just flat. :\ Maybe if I were in a similar situation, I may be able to relate more to it and be more emotionally involved with the novel. This is the only book I have not been able to finish so far, ever.

... moreom her red curls down to her soul that is rooted in Erin's green sod. Cathy Kelly has created another wonderful story of strong women. Izzie and her grandmother are more alike than she ever knew until she is in her 30's.
