review 1: While I enjoyed the story line/plot of the Shadow Falls novels, some aspects of the story line where a bit too easy to see coming. I enjoyed the characters thats CC Hunter developed, I wish in some aspects that more of the secondary characters where expanded upon a little more. Overall a good series, well written, with some unique aspects. I enjoyed and would recommend to others looking for a YA Fantasy book series.
review 2: This just keeps getting better! Oh, wow, a lot of questions and mysteries were answered and resolved, but a whole lot of new ones arose as well. I wanna figgin' know what Kylie is! My guess is either some super special mix of everything or some kind of close descendant of a powerful first-of-a-kind or something. I loved coming up with my o... morewn answers as more of her gifts kept surfacing. But her quest to learn what she is and who her grandparents are is really interesting! I can't wait to see what she uncovers!Miranda and Della kept cracking me up, they're awesome.Holiday, with her weird name, really grew on me. I really like how she's like a sister to Kylie and how she absolutely refuses to give Burnett a chance! poor guy, I feel kinda bad for him. I'm hoping she gives the vamp a chance.On the Lucas vs. Derek front, I'm swaying towards the Derek side. I don't agree with his actions, but I understand where he's coming from. Plus, I think he really loves her (apart from being caring, patient, kind and understanding). And I'm still not convinced Lucas's intentions are 100% innocent. He's totally hiding something!It was nice to see the mother-daughter relationship blossom too, and how she was there for Sara when she was needed, even though they're growing apart. True friendship should last forever.Oh, and the cover is GORGEOUS! less
