review 1: I really enjoyed this book. It was an easy read, but still kept me engaged throughout the whole book. I love how Ms.Hunter has woven so many unanswered questions through out the story, yet answers just a few of them before the end of the first book. I believe this is clever to keep her readers excited and anxious to read the next book. It gives readers just enough information to keep them from being angry with her for not resolving many of the problems our protagonist faces. The only thing I did not like about this book were the intimate romantic scenes. Some of them were PG-13 and although I am an adult and know what teenagers face regarding intimate situations. I just didn't care for it. This is a personal preference and has nothing to do with how well the writer portra... moreyed the story. I love that this book isn't your typical "twilight" type story. I love that it includes other species of supernatural beings and appreciate how Ms.Hunter has put her own twist on each one of them. Now off to read the next in the series . . .
review 2: I really loved this book and if you haven't finished it yet i'm sorry but i might spoil some of it. So if you haven't finished reading the book then don't keep reading this....ok? Ok. I HATE LUCAS!!!! HE LEAVES!!!!!!! And then has the nerve to write her that note?!?! You just don't do that!! But i still LOVE! this book!! I think C.C. Hunter is an amazing writer and should just keep writing lots more books. less
