review 1: The last book.... Such sorrow. I feel like this could have gone on. In fact it can. it didn't feel like a true ending everything was kinda just left there. Don't get me wrong I loved the book it was great and all that but I was left with nothing. and yes, I can see a spin off is being made but that's not really what I want. Delia is good but barely as good as Kylie is she has all this stuff and everything was just getting started at the school. We could have had a longer time with Kylie but sadly our time is up. It was a fantastic series though.
review 2: I thought this book was the 4th but as I started reading I realized I missed some things and that I had skipped a book. Oops. But it still made enough sense that I kept reading it. I really like this series an... mored the ideas behind it. I love that Kylie is a little bit of all the supernaturals and the story line is cool but I didnt really love how it was executed. I feel like a 12 year old girl would love this series. I feel like thats the maturity level of this book besides the sex talk, but there is so little of it and no actual sex scenes that like I said it really could be for 6th or 7th graders. Kylie complaines all the time and a lot of parts in this book were so cheesy. For example, the sword starts glowing even when Kylie isnt touching it, and shes all like "Oh my gosh what could it mean, I feel like its trying to talk to me, I actually even tried talking to it." So then I was like oh the fight will be any page now. And then when the action does come it only lasts a few pages.Over all I liked it enough that I kept reading it and that I have read thewhole series, but it could have been written a lot better.I am happy who she ends up with at the end though! Also there was a typo on page 231 it saysKylie clanked her spoon against her bowl. Becaus eif it isn't he'll lose everything. Della studied her. "But it he didn't cheat-"But IT he didn't cheat?? Shouldn't it be IF he didn't cheat. The rest of the series has got 4 stars so far but I expected the characters and the writing to start to mature a bit as the characters aged and went through their "quests" (I thought it was so cheesy that the author used the word quest. Kylie was always saying "this is my quest" blah blah blah. So annoying. less

I thought that this book was easily the best one in the series! Things started to be resolved and Kylie was becoming more mature and growing more of a backbone by herself. I want sure that that was going to happen since Kylie had been pretty whiney thus far in the series but my prayers were answered on that front. I am going to give one little spoiler about who Kylie chooses on the guy front so be aware. I was so relieved that Kylie choose Lucas and not Derek because Derek just wasn't invested enough in their relationship and working on their problems and Lucas was willing to work on their problems and to earn forgiveness. Also, Derek actually cheated on Kylie while Lucas just entered into an arranged engagement behind her back. Neither of these situations are good but at least Lucas wasn't willingly going along with it like Derek did. It is really hard not to say anything else without giving away parts of the book so I'm just going to say that all of the loose ends were wrapped up but the story is open ended enough that it could continue. Overall I was just very satisfied with the ending and hope you are too!

amazing.... absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I have overly enjoyed this series and i will read them again and again because i love the storylines and the characters........spoilers: I am so happy that Kylie chose Lucas in the end, they definitely deserved to be together and Derek is in love with jenny so now he is happy. Miranda and Perry so happy for them. Holiday and Burnett absolutely love their relationship and so happy that they got married in the end. Della better get with Steve because she needs to have some happiness in her life and move on from Lee....Overall this is my my favourite book... actually no that is not true, all of the books have been my favourite and it is the best series I have ever read.
