review 1: And Kontra's group is off to rescue more shifters from the scientists; this time with the help of an insider and military training. Occasionally the relationship with Sam and Ryan felt a little forced to me. Sam never seemed to acknowledge Ryan’s hesitation, and I suppose as a bull shifter it makes sense that he would just barrel forward crashing through things in a very undelicate type manner. Still, as a man I feel he should have listened more and possibly acted a little slower. Even so, the overall story works.
review 2: I think this book was great. I liked the military man meets bull shifter with issues. I think the story progressed well but I had to take away one star. I felt like the sexual aspects of this book were lacking. At the very end of the bo... moreok there is a vague mention of the couple fooling around on multiple occasions but we were apparently not invited to that party :/... then the one actual penetration sex scene of the book seemed to lack a fair amount of description. I actually reread the scene bc I felt like " wait. ..did I miss something". So that was my only complaint of the book. ..But I loved Ryan and Sam together ! less
