review 1: The shadowland series never fails to deliver a good story. Although Rainie had a tough childhood and crappy adolescent life she was focused on being more and recreating herself. She was not a whiner about how life had treated her badly she just sucked it up and moved forward. Jake was going through the motions of living but that was all. Together they help each other and have steamy time doing it. Love these alpha doms!
review 2: I really didn't realize until I read this book that I just don't care for books that involve BDSM. The premise of the book is good and I liked the characters, but since so much revolved around the BDSM club and it just isn't something I'm comfortable with I didn't finish the book. I'll hand it off to someone who will enjoy it. I recei
... moreved the book in a a drawing, and they really wanted an honest review if I would do that....I am. Rainie is a strong woman in many ways except when it comes to Jake. Master Jake of the Shadowlands.....I wish I could tell you how their story ends but I can't I didn't finish the book. I won't sign up for more. The premise of the 1001 Dark Nights is interesting.....they will have many books with that title and many sub titles.......An Arabian Nights type of things where the woman from the harem tells the master a story in order to keep him interested and there fore she stays alive each night to tell another story, this one was: Show Me Baby -some are erotic some are paranormal:Here is the description as shown here on Good Reads:A Masters of the Shadowlands NovellaAfter his last lover chose her career over him, Jake knows he wants a woman who will put him at the top of her priorities—as he would with her. One of the trainees, Rainie, has caught his attention. Lush body, a gift for living life to the fullest, always laughing or smiling. Yeah. She trips all his switches. But she’s never given him a second look and that’s damned annoying. Rainie has been burned enough times that she’s not going to get serious about any man. Sure, the BDSM club trainees are supposed to be looking for a permanent Dom, but no harm, no foul—they don’t need to know she lied. Trainees get to be involved in everything—and with everyone. But there’s one she avoids. Master Jake is always frowning at her. No matter how gorgeous he is, she doesn’t need any disapproving Dom up in her business. Unfortunately, her best friends are having a double wedding. Little hearts are floating in the air. Every breath is filled with romance. Rainie is doomed. less

This novella was just okay. I felt we didn't really get a good development. Light read

Sinclair is pretty much the best at these types of books for me.
