review 1: Serena is going to do what she must to make the man responsible for ruining her take responsibility. Hugo, his Man of Business will do what he must to keep that from happening.This is a very good Historical Romance! The attraction between the two main characters is electrical! There is good natured bantering from the two strong characters. I look forward to reading the series that results from this book.
review 2: This is the second novella I've read of Courtney Milan and it was better than the first. Her characters are never perfect and she brings them to life. Hugo and Serena were wonderful characters and their story was so sweet and sexy. You never really felt sorry for either one, even though their backgrounds were less than perfect. Ms. Milan can put more ... moreinto a novella than some authors put into a full length novel. I can't wait to read more go her books. less
