review 1: I'd heard this was the weakest of the series, but I thought it was rather adorable and quite enjoyed myself. (Perhaps moreso than I normally would have, as I just got finished reading a rather dreadful old school 80s romance novel that was just blaaaaahhh.) This was a nice palate cleanser, and I found myself unable to stop reading it, for whatever reason. Excited (and sad) to finish out the series now.
review 2: I'm reading this series too fast. I'm going to have to go back and re-read so that I can remember and savor each word. But for now, I can't stop myself from devouring the Brothers Sinister series quickly, like a starving dieter at a cupcake buffet...no that's not a good analogy because these books have so much more substance than cupcakes...so like a di... moreeter devouring a deliciously healthy feast with all four food groups represented. Great humor, fascinating history, interesting characters with unique conflicts, and of course, a staple in this readers diet, breath-taking romance. less
