review 1: Me ha gustado mucho, aunque no tanto como los dos primeros de la saga. Una vez más la autora sorprende por su originalidad y el carácter tan personal que le da a sus personajes. Mujeres imperfectas a la vista pero con un temple exquisito y una determinación suprema. Hombres poderosos y apuestos que podrían tener a cualquiera peor que la quieren a ella, la imperfecta, la despreciada, la dejada de lado. Ellos pueden ver más allá de las apariencias y descubrir la mujer que se esconde tras una máscara de apariencia. SI bien la novela es histórica los temas que aborda la autora son tan actuales que la lectura resulta adictiva.
review 2: This is really more a 3.5 star for me. I love Courtney Milan and I really liked the concept of this book. There was just a ... moreundefineable something missing from the story to make me really love it though. Chemistry between Sebastion and Violet a bit off? Any sort of real conflict? I don't know, just something didn't fully click for me.With that said, any of Courtney's books are light years better than the typical romance novel and that is certainly true of this one too. less
