review 1: Great story with lots of intrigue. C W Gortner has a great imagination and he melds the fiction into a plausible and enjoyable story that feels like the real deal! I happened upon this series, reading book #2 first and decided to back track and pick up the first to fill in some of the details that were mentioned but I didn't have the back story on. ... moreward who died/was murdered. Almost a bit of a spy/thriller tale of the goings on after Edward's death. less
