review 1: This book was less about the search for Atlantis and more about rapid fire dates, names, and places in Nazi Germany during the war. The storyline was hard to follow. More often than not, it felt like the author was brain dumping facts to make sure the reader had all the correct information, and most of it seemed irrelevant to the story. The writing style was more similar to a real history book than a fantasy novel.
review 2: Been a while since I read this but I do recall how complex and difficult to follow this story is. I like to think I am a person of reasonable intelligence but, boy, this book sorely tested my mental dexterity. The author seems to know his stuff but is unable to convey it to the reader in a digestible manner, which is a shame as I love thes
... moree type of action mixed with history books. And I do quite like Jack Howard and his partner. less

Poorly fleshed out characters and clunky dialogue hinder a borderline interesting plot.
