review 1: I loved this book. Right from the beginning the heroine cracked me up with her unique blend of scandalous book knowledge and complete lack of experience in reality. She was a breath of fresh air in a genre where heroines take themselves way too seriously sometimes. I didn't feel quite as connected to the hero, and my attention sort of wandered about 3/4ths of the way through, but overall it was a fantastic read.
review 2: This one really held my interest and if I sound surprised... I am! I don't normally go for courtesean themed books so this one sat in the shelf for a long time. I finally just wanted to get rid of it so I started reading. And kept reading. I like the story of the h/h and the school with its student was a great addition. I loved several... more scenes, especially the gift scene. Pleasantly surprised! less
